Here is your chance to showcase your wears, your creative skills, your products or simply come along support local, handmade and sustainable businesses.

Some of the biggest damage to the planet comes from the waste produced at factories who spend their days mass producing toys, garments and products to satisfy the demand of 'fast fashion' and 'affordable' products.

Learning to shop slow not only reduces the mass production of fad products, it reduces the quick turnover and the growing amount of waste produced as these products break, go out of trend or are simply discarded because 'they didn't cost much'.

The 'slow movement' - a different way to shop...

Some characteristics of the Slow Movement

  • Made from high quality, sustainable materials

  • Often in smaller (local) stores rather than huge chain enterprises

  • Locally sourced, produced and sold garments

  • Few, specific styles per collection, which are released twice or maximum three times per year.
